Boondocking Tips

The term "Boondocking" generally applies to camping with any hookups. That is, you are completely relying on your coach's on-board capacities to provide for all your fresh water, electric and gray/black water storage. You may boondock in a driveway, at a truck stop / parking lot, or at a scenic vista on public or private land.

The Discovery motorcoach is an excellent coach for boondocking, as it comes standard with large freshwater, gray/black water and LP capacities, along with a generator and an inverter for providing your 120 volt ac requirements. With proper boondocking techniques, two people should be able to boondock for at a minimum of five days, and this allows for daily showers!
